THANKS FOR ALL THE COMMENTS

I want to thank all of you that have left a comment, but because I am a poopie head and have not figured out how to respond to you individually, I am posting my thanks so that I don't have to go one more day of not saying "THANKS".

MY CARDS FOR MY FIRST CLASS

Just wanted to show the cards that I will be teaching at Cranberry Hill Mercantile, the class will be my first class. I am really excited to be apart of such a wonderful store. Make sure you call the store to sign up for my class (408)736-9151. Also, this store sells the Magnolia stamps, Tilda you have to love her, possiblities are endless with this line of stamps see my posts below to see what I have done. If you are going to be in the Carson area this weekend stop by the Rubber Stamp show, and you can see up close how cute these stamps are, Stamp on Over will have a booth there, and Irina Blount will do a demo with Copic markers and have a cute make-n-take using Copic and Tilda.

THE MANY FACES OF MY LITTLE GIRL

A Hip Hippie for Halloween 2008
A scary Vampire for Halloween 2006

A precious butterfly after having dinner at a local restaurant

My little princess for her 9th birthday
I just love this little girl, she is the bestest daughter ever. She is just "cute to me" this is a catch phrase and my wonderful friend and fellow crafter at Cranberry Hill Mercantile knows the inside joke....Hugs to you Irina

HE SAID HOLLYWOOD

My 15 year old is in the 10th grade and he goes to Mountain View High School. Now of course at the last minute he told me that he wanted to go to the Homecoming Dance and the theme was Hollywood, and you had to dress up. Well of course his mother, that would be me goes over the top with most anything that her children asks her to do , so I think Hefner, smoking jacket. $100 dollars later I went to the costume store and found this. The things a mother does.
Now this is my son and his friend, I guess they did not get the same memo??? Either way my son had a good time and came home with a bigger smile for all the attention he recieved with his get-up

MY LITTLE GIRL'S BIRTHDAY INVITE

My baby girl turned 11. She wanted to have a sleepover for her 11th birthday so I decided to make her invites. Using a cupcake die and Tilda here is what I came up with. I had alot of fun making this invitation and because this little Tilda is so "cute to me" I was very pleased with my results. This die is apart of the die cut club at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. $20 dollars and you get unlimited use for one full year. There are a ton of dies that include shapes, envelopes, and boxes, come on over and join the fun.

MY RECIPE CARD FOR A MAGNOLIA SWAP

What can I say I just love Tilda. I joined a recipe card swap over at Magnolia blog and the idea was to create 6 recipe cards using a Magnolia image. Here is what I came up with.

CHERRY TILDA MEETS GOOSEBERRY PATCH

A first post for me and I am excited to share. Cranberry Hill Mercantile in Sunnyvale California has a amazing owner, Geri. She carries this line of stamps from Sweden, the Magnolia line (all the rage I know you heard and seen?) oh my these are the cutest stamps. Geri asked me to come up with a sample so customers can have an idea on how to use this kit that came with recipe cards, paper and stickers. I took 6 of the recipe cards and the matching paper and a few stickers and came up with a flip book. I colored with Copic and used a little glitter pin for accents and liquid pearls to add cherries on her dress, bound it all with my Bind it All and my book was born. This will be on display so come on by to see all the other goodies the store has to offer. And let me not forget I will be teaching at this amazing store. My first class will be 10 November, cards using snowlflakes. I will post some photos, but you can also go to the store blog and also see my class along with other classes that the store as to offier. Thanks for looking...
